PRACTICE AND FEEDBACK (also known as Reconnaissances séminaires d’intégration en EM)
Research suggests that practice and direct feedback, either through direct observation or using recorded interventions, is the best way to integrate a new practice. dancing gecko training offers several different formats for this. Practitioners submit actual interventions (with due consent, of course— for consent form, click here). In a group clinical development session (for individual coding feedback, please see below, Coding), the recordings are listened to for MI behaviours and processes, and discussed, using strength-based protocol. Participants receive positive feedback from their peers and are offered a chance to criticise their own work. The facilitator offers focus goals (as needed) to advance the participant’s practice after each recording is reviewed by the group.
